The country's 'first ever' Bio-Technology (BT) Finishing School will be established in Bangalore shortly, Karnataka IT and BT Secretary M N Vidyashankar said today.

Addressing the media here after opening the new campus of the 'country's first' IT Finishing School here, he said Bio-technology which was making rapid strides in the world suffered from lack of manpower and hence the need was felt for establishing a BT Finishing School. The school may start functioning from February 2008 and in the first phase, the intake would be 100 progressively increasing to 1,000 over the coming years.
